A Community Built on Connection, Friendship & Belonging!

Indian Women in London & UK (IWLUK) isn’t just a Facebook group — it’s a vibrant and welcoming community for Indian women navigating life in a new country. Whether you’ve just landed in the UK or have been here for years, IWLUK offers a space to feel at home, be heard, and grow — both personally and professionally.

Founded by Lovina Shenoy in 2022, IWLUK began with a simple coffee meetup in Wembley. Today, it has grown into one of the largest Indian women-led communities in the UK, with over 40,000 members on Facebook and 20,000+ active users across WhatsApp groups.

Why join our community

Find Your Tribe

Moving abroad can feel isolating. At IWLUK, you’ll find warm, like-minded women who share your culture, language, and values. It’s the perfect place to build deep, meaningful friendships in a new land.

Events That Truly Matter

From professional networking and Bollywood parties to cultural celebrations and chai meetups — we curate events that are fun, meaningful, and deeply rooted in community. There’s something special every month.

Empowerment in Every Interaction

IWLUK isn’t just social—it’s strategic. We host women-led business showcases, skill-building workshops, and panel discussions to help you grow professionally, launch your business, and connect with mentors across industries.

Emotional Support When You Need It Most

Starting over in a new country comes with challenges. IWLUK is where you’ll always find someone who’s walked your path—offering support, advice, or simply a listening ear when you need it most.
